| Obverse description | Draped bust of a bishop or ecclesiastical figure facing right, wearing an ornate mitre decorated with beaded and foliate motifs, and holding a crozier visible at the right shoulder. The portrait is rendered in high relief with considerable detail in the vestments and facial features, consistent with late 18th-century provincial token engraving. The circumferential legend reads CRONEBANE HALFPENNY, divided across the upper field on either side of the mitre. |
