Obverse description Allegorical figure of Hibernia seated to the left, resting her left arm upon a large Irish harp, with a shamrock visible in the field at her feet. The figure is draped in classical robes and occupies the central field within a beaded border. The legend ONE HALFPENNY TOKEN arcs around the upper periphery, while the date 1820 appears in the lower exergue.
