| Obverse description | Central device depicts a barrel (cask) viewed in three-quarter perspective, rendered with horizontal stave lines and hooped ends, positioned within a raised inner circle. The circumferential legend HALFPENNY TOKEN reads clockwise around the upper portion of the field, while the date 1815 appears in the lower arc between the inner circle and the outer beaded border.
