Obverse description Unadorned male bust in left profile, depicting George Jobson, rendered in a neoclassical style with close-cropped hair and a cravat visible at the truncation. The circular legend GEORGE JOBSON . BANKER· appears around the periphery, with the date 1794 placed in the exergue below the bust. The portrait is boldly engraved with fine detail in the facial features and drapery of the collar.
