Obverse description Draped bust of a Druid facing left, depicted with a long beard and hooded robes, rendered in high relief in the neoclassical style characteristic of late 18th-century token coinage. The figure is set within a wreath of oak leaves and acorns, the whole contained within a plain raised rim. The field is unlettered, with no legend present on this face. The oak wreath frames the bust closely, with the branches tied at the base. The engraving is attributed to John Westwood of Birmingham.
