Reverse description A standing winged female figure, emblematic of Fame or Mercury, occupies the central field, her drapery rendered in flowing relief with one arm extended outward. The figure is enclosed within a plain inner circle, beyond which a continuous circular legend in two concentric bands fills the annular field. A toothed border runs along the outer rim. The overall composition is typical of Kempson's Birmingham trade token production, combining allegorical imagery with bold commercial advertising text.
