(Translation: Love, Honour and Justice)
Reverse description A uniformed draped bust of Frederick, Duke of York, facing right, rendered in fine relief with military dress and decorations visible at the truncation. The peripheral legend FRED. DUKE OF YORK arcs around the upper field, while HALF PENNY appears in the lower exergue beneath the bust, with the date 1795 directly below. The portrait is boldly struck with well-defined facial features and flowing hair, consistent with late 18th-century Conder token engraving style.
