Obverse description The central field displays an elaborate interlaced cypher formed by the initials H H, rendered in ornate script with foliate flourishes and scrollwork. A small floral rosette ornament is positioned above the cypher and a second matching floral ornament below, creating a vertically symmetrical composition. The design occupies the full field with no legend, relying entirely on the decorative monogram as the principal device. The coin border is defined by a continuous raised bead or milling around the rim.
