Obverse description Crude laureate draped bust of a monarch facing left, rendered in a coarse imitative style characteristic of contemporary counterfeits and emergency pieces. The effigy displays a pronounced laurel wreath with large stylized leaves extending toward the right of the field, and the truncation shows a rudimentary draped shoulder. The open field surrounding the bust bears no legend or inscription, consistent with the anonymous nature of this imitation issue. The overall engraving quality is deliberately rough, reflecting the unofficial origin of the piece.
