Stoltenhoff Island is one of the Tristan da Cunha group in the South Atlantic — uninhabited, roughly two hectares of rock, and home to no permanent population whatsoever. Coins issued under its name are administrative curiosities produced for the collector market, with the "issuer" designation carrying no practical monetary function. The KM#1 attribution confirms this is the founding piece of a manufactured series rather than a coin that ever changed hands for goods or services.
