| Obverse description | A Tudor rose in full bloom occupies the central field, its petals radiating symmetrically around the central hole. Surmounting the rose at the top is a Tudor crown rendered in fine relief. The circular legend QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND runs around the periphery of the coin, separated from the central device by a plain inner border. The outer rim is decorated with a continuous milled border of fine beads. |
