Reverse description The arms of the Borough of Poole occupy the central field, depicted as a quartered shield: the upper two quarters bear three fleurs-de-lis or similar floral charges on a horizontally lined ground, while the lower two quarters display a dolphin and a ship's hull in finely engraved detail, consistent with Poole's maritime heritage. The circumferential legend reads 'PROSPERITY TO THE TOWN OF POOLE' around the upper arc, with the date '1795' flanked by two small rosette stops along the lower arc. The token is encircled by a continuous milled border.
