| Reverse description | A crowned Irish harp is depicted at the centre of the field, with the date 1761 split and placed in the lower exergual area on either side of the harp's base. The circular legend NORTH + WALES is arranged around the upper and lateral periphery, flanking the crowned harp. The design is characteristic of evasion token reverses that appropriated Irish regal coinage imagery to evade the laws against counterfeiting British currency. |
