Obverse description Central Burgundian cross with firesteel strike-a-lights at the terminals, surmounted by a crown with the jewels of the Order of the Golden Fleece pendant below, dividing the date across the lower field. The mint mark of Arras (a rat) appears above the crown. The encircling legend in Latin reads across the upper and lower periphery, separated by the cross motif.
