Obverse description Central Burgundian cross with firesteel and flints (sparks) at its angles, surmounted by an archducal crown, with the pendant jewel of the Order of the Golden Fleece suspended at the base. Flanking the cross on either side are two crowned interlaced monograms of Albert and Isabella. The circumferential legend in Latin reads within a beaded inner border.

Reverse description Centrally placed quartered heraldic shield bearing the composite arms of the Spanish Habsburg territories — including Castile, León, Austria, Burgundy, Brabant, Flanders, Tyrol, and Luxembourg — surmounted by an archducal crown and encircled by the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The elaborately detailed shield is set against a plain field, with the circumferential Latin legend running along the outer border within a beaded frame, as visible in the image.
