Reverse description Hammered reverse bearing a multi-line Persian inscription in Naskh script occupying the majority of the irregular flan. The legend records the mint name Arcot and the term 'julus zarb' (struck at accession), referencing the authority under which the coin was issued. Several small pellets are visible in the lower field, a common decorative or regulatory element on Carnatic copper coinage. The flan is notably irregular with typical die-shift and surface roughness consistent with hand-struck provincial manufacture.
