Obverse description The obverse field is entirely occupied by a multi-line Devanagari legend arranged across the flan, with bold, deeply struck characters rendered in an archaic style characteristic of Gwalior princely state coinage. The inscription fills the field from edge to edge without a border of dots, occupying the full diameter of the coin. The lettering, though worn, retains its angular, hand-engraved quality typical of mid-nineteenth century Indian copper issues. No portrait or central device is present; the design relies solely on the epigraphic content. The flat, irregular rim reflects the hand-struck nature of this issue.
