Obverse description Central device depicting a katar (Indian push dagger), the traditional dynastic emblem of the Bundi state, rendered in low relief on an irregularly shaped flan. The katar is presented upright in the field, its characteristic H-shaped handle and double-edged blade visible despite the crude striking technique characteristic of late princely-state copper coinage. The surface shows the rough, uneven texture typical of hammered copper issues of this series.
