Obverse description Irregular rectangular copper flan bearing a katar (a traditional Indian push dagger) rendered in a stylised, archaic manner, occupying the central field. The design is executed in the characteristic crude hammered style of Bundi State coinage, with bold raised relief against a flat field. The katar motif served as the principal emblem of Bundi State throughout its coinage tradition. Inscriptions in Devanagari script appear in the field, identifying the issuing authority, struck in the name of Edward VII during the reign of Maharao Raja Raghubir Singh (1869–1927).
