Reverse description The reverse displays an elaborate floriated cross with four arms extending outward to the coin's edge, each terminating in decorative foliage. The central boss of the cross encloses the letter 'h' (initial of Henricus) within a small panel or mascle. The quadrants between the cross arms are filled with ornamental foliage. Saltire stops punctuate the surrounding legend, which is rendered in Gothic characters and carries a devotional inscription.
