Reverse description A floriated cross pattée with fleurs-de-lis terminating each arm, enclosing a large crowned Lombardic letter E at the centre. Each quarter of the field contains a crowned lion passant guardant, a device characteristic of the Treaty period noble and its fractions. The design is enclosed within a double beaded border. The reverse legend in Gothic uncial script carries the devotional inscription taken from Psalm 6.
