Reverse description A floriated cross pattée with a large ornate letter E (Є) at its centre, the arms terminating in fleurs-de-lis. The four quarters are each filled with a crowned lion passant guardant, consistent with the arms of England. The overall design is executed within a cusped and tressured inner circle, with the devotional legend arranged in the surrounding field, separated by saltire stops.
