| Reverse description | The reverse depicts a traditional Egyptian-style Hanukkah oil lamp rendered in relief at the center of the field, its characteristic saucer form with a single spout shown with fine artistic detail. The lamp motif is superimposed upon a large Star of David occupying the majority of the coin's face, a recurring design element in the Israeli Hanukkah coin series.
