| Obverse description | Three-quarter facing right effigy of Maharaja Sir Govind Singh, depicted in full regalia with an elaborate plumed turban, multi-strand beaded necklace, and richly decorated court dress. The portrait occupies the majority of the field in high relief, rendered in a naturalistic style characteristic of Indian princely state medallic issues. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, reading 'LOKENDRA·MAHARAJAH·SIR·GOVIND·SINGH·K.C.S.I.' with 'DATIA' appearing at the base, separated by ornamental dots. |

| Reverse description | Central shield bearing the Datia state coat of arms, supported by a lion on the dexter side and a horse on the sinister side, rendered in the European heraldic tradition adapted for Indian princely usage. A decorative banner or scroll appears below the shield bearing an inscription, with the state name 'DATIA' displayed prominently beneath. The overall composition is contained within a circular format with a beaded or milled border framing the heraldic design. |
