Obverse description Central field bearing the Arabic legend 'Al-Sultan Nadir' (السلطان نادر) in bold nasta'liq script, occupying nearly the full flan. The inscription is executed in raised relief with characteristic Afsharid calligraphic style. The legend is enclosed within a dotted inner border that follows the circular outline of the coin. The field shows a slightly uneven, hammered surface typical of locally struck Afsharid coinage. No additional devices or symbols are present.
