Reverse description The reverse bears a bold Arabic inscription filling the entire field in a fluid, calligraphic style typical of Central Asian hammered coinage. The legend reads 'قيلغان اقسودا' (qalgan aksuda, meaning 'produced in Aksu'), with the AH date appearing in Arabic numerals in the upper portion of the field. Pellet ornaments are scattered within the field as decorative fillers. The flan is irregular and the strike uneven, consistent with hand-hammered production at the Aksu mint.
