| Obverse description | The German Imperial eagle (Type 2) displayed at center, with wings spread and head turned to the right, surmounted by the Imperial crown. The eagle bears on its breast a small heraldic shield (Hohenzollern quartered arms). The entire device is flanked on both sides by upright oak branches bearing acorns and leaves, tied at the base. A beaded border runs along the coin's rim. The Stuttgart mint mark 'F' appears at the base of the design between the oak branches. |
