Reverse description The emperor Constantius II is depicted standing to the left in full military attire, wearing a crested helmet and a cuirassed figure. He holds a globe in his extended right hand, symbolising imperial dominion over the world, and a spear (hasta) in his lowered left hand. A star appears in the upper left field above the emperor's hand, and a crescent moon is placed in the lower left field, both serving as celestial symbols of divine favour and imperial authority. The mint mark and officina letters appear in the exergue.
