| Obverse description | The Albanian double-headed eagle displayed in high relief occupies the central field, its two heads facing outward to left and right with open beaks and spread wings fully extended, the talons splayed beneath. The heraldic device is rendered with fine feather detail in a confident neoclassical style engraved by Giuseppe Romagnoli. The circular Latin legend SHQIPNI arcs around the upper periphery, flanked by a raised dot on each side at the base, with the date 1926 positioned in the lower field beneath the eagle. |

| Reverse description | A powerful neoclassical scene depicts Hercules wrestling the Nemean lion in the centre field, the muscular hero grasping the beast from behind in a standing strangle hold, rendered with exceptional anatomical detail and vigour. The word PROVA appears in small capitals along the upper left field, and the Rome Mint mark R is positioned to the lower left. The engraver's signature G. ROMAGNOLI is incised along the lower left rim, with the additional incuse mark A.M. INC. at the lower right. The denomination 1/2 LEK is displayed in bold relief to the right field. |
