Reverse description Central field features the denomination 1/2 KRONE and the date in three lines, all enclosed within a wreath of oak branches tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The wreath is rendered in fine detail with acorns and oak leaves. The upper peripheral legend VEREINSMÜNZE arcs above the wreath, while the lower legend 100 EIN PFUND FEIN arcs below, together denoting the coin's status as a Vereinsmünze struck to the metric pound standard. Small six-petalled rosettes punctuate the legend at either side, and the design is framed by a beaded inner border.
