| Reverse description | The Danish royal crown is displayed at center within a beaded or rope circle, dividing the mintmaster's initials 'G' and 'K' at either side. Below the crown, within the inner circle, appears the king's motto in italic lettering. The date 1666 is placed beneath the crown, between the crown's lower ring and the motto. A continuous Latin legend occupies the outer field beyond the inner circle, recording the king's ducal and comital titles. |
