| Obverse description | Central ornate oval cartouche bearing the Dietrichstein family coat of arms, featuring two crossed keys or sceptres surmounted by an elaborate foliate surround. A royal crown rises above the shield, its arches and orb rendered in fine relief. The date is divided by the crown, with numerals appearing to either side in the upper field. The design is contained within a beaded inner border and occupies nearly the full flan, consistent with the hammered coinage style of mid-17th century Austrian territorial issues. |
