Obverse description Central shield bearing the rampant lion of Salzburg, surmounted by an ecclesiastical hat (galero) with tassels pendant on either side, the whole flanked by small decorative elements in the field. The arms are rendered in the bold, simplified style typical of small hammered coinage of the early seventeenth century. No legend appears on this face.
