Obverse description Central field displays the Bavarian lozenge (fusilly in bend) shield within an ornate cartouche with scrollwork supporters on either side. The date 1626 is divided across the upper portion of the inner circle, flanking a decorative crown or cipher element. The entire design is struck on a square klippe flan with chamfered corners, exhibiting the characteristic crude hammered relief of early 17th-century Bavarian coinage. No peripheral legend is present; the denomination indicator '1/2' appears as part of the date arrangement in the upper field.
