Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Maria Theresia facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and covered with a veil, rendered in high relief in the Baroque style. The effigy is depicted with characteristic period portraiture detail, showing the Queen of Hungary and Bohemia in regal attire. A beaded border frames the periphery of the coin. The continuous Latin legend encircles the bust, reading M THERESIA D G R I H B R A AUST, abbreviated titles denoting her imperial and royal dignities.
