| Obverse description | Two adjacent oval shields bearing the imperial arms and the city arms of Ravensburg respectively, with the imperial eagle displayed in the dexter shield and the city's heraldic device in the sinister shield. A small oval cartouche inscribed '1/2' appears below the conjoined arms in the lower field. The design is rendered in a modest provincial style typical of small German imperial city coinage of the early eighteenth century. |
