| Obverse description | Central field features a cruciform arrangement of four heraldic shields, each surmounted by a crown, displaying the armorial bearings associated with Francis George of Schönborn, Archbishop-Elector of Trier. The central oval escutcheon bears the lion of Trier. The shields are flanked by crossed keys and sword, ecclesiastical and electoral symbols, arranged symmetrically within a finely engraved decorative border. The circumferential Latin legend names the issuer in abbreviated form. |
