Obverse description Within a rope border, the quartered arms of the Archbishop of Salzburg are displayed at center, surmounted by a mitre and flanked by the archiepiscopal crozier and processional cross in saltire, with pendant tassels on either side. The last two digits of the date (8 and 6) appear in the field on either side of the lower portion of the shield. The circular Latin legend runs along the rope border of the square klippe flan.
