| Obverse description | Irregular cast bronze disc with a central circular perforation. The inscription 蔺 (Lín), denoting the mint city of Lin in the State of Zhao, is cast in archaic Chinese script to the left of the central hole, rendered in slightly sloping characters. The legend is presented in a bold, raised relief typical of Warring States period cast coinage. The field shows the characteristic rough surface texture associated with clay-mold casting of the period. |
