Obverse description Quadripartite coat of arms with a central inescutcheon bearing the electoral Saxony barry-bendy device, the shield inclined to sinister and surmounted by a crested helm adorned with tall buffalo horns. Two small subsidiary shields of arms are displayed to the left and right of the helm, with the abbreviated titles of the three joint rulers divided between them. A circular Latin legend surrounds the composition, reading the names of the three reigning princes.
