Obverse description Armored and crowned half-length effigy of Emperor Maximilian II facing right, holding an orb inscribed with the denomination '30' in his right hand and a scepter in his left. The bust is set within a beaded inner circle, below which appears a small shield serving as the mint mark of Budějovice. The abbreviated Latin legend encircles the inner circle, identifying the emperor by his titles as King of Romans, Holy Roman Emperor, and King of Hungary and Bohemia.
