Obverse description Standing full-length figure of the Doge in ducal robes and corno ducale, facing front, holding an upright banner or standard in his right hand. The figure is rendered in the flat, stylized manner characteristic of Venetian medieval coinage. The surrounding circular legend, interrupted by pellets, reads the Doge's name and title within a beaded border.
