| Obverse description | Central shield bearing the Altieri family arms, displaying six six-pointed stars arranged in two rows on a plain field, surmounted by the crossed keys of Saint Peter and the papal tiara, all within a beaded border. The legend is divided across the field reading PONT • MAX • to the left and CLEM • X • to the right, with the Roman numeral X completing the papal name at lower right. The heraldic composition is rendered in a bold, slightly crude hammered style characteristic of late seventeenth-century Roman coinage. |

| Reverse description | Full-length standing figure of Saint Peter, nimbate, depicted facing front in classical drapery, holding a pair of crossed keys vertically in his right hand and a book in his left hand. Two small six-pointed stars flank the figure in the lower field. The circular legend FER AVXILIVM (Bring Aid) surrounds the design, interrupted by the figure at top, all within a beaded border. The style is consistent with Roman hammered silver coinage of the pontificate of Clement X. |
