Obverse description A single-headed eagle displayed in the central field, rendered in the Gothic style characteristic of late 15th-century Austrian coinage. The eagle faces to the right with wings spread and detailed feathering visible across the plumage. A beaded inner circle frames the central device, with a second beaded circle defining the outer boundary of the legend area. A Latin inscription in uncial lettering runs continuously around the circumference between the two beaded borders. The overall strike is typical of hammered coinage, resulting in a slightly irregular flan.
