| Obverse description | Full-length frontal effigy of a bishop, mitred and vested in pontifical robes, holding a crozier in his right hand and an orb in his left. The figure is rendered in the Romanesque-Gothic transitional style characteristic of early 14th-century Silesian coinage. A star appears in the field on each side of the episcopal figure. The surrounding legend, in uncial Latin characters, identifies the issuing bishop. |
