Reverse description A Cross of Jerusalem occupying the central field, rendered as a large cross potent with a small square at the centre and a smaller cross in each of the four quarters, all within a beaded inner ring. A second beaded ring runs along the rim, with a Latin legend in uncial characters inscribed in the annular space between the two rings. The design is typical of Lusignan Cyprus coinage, emphasising the dynastic claim to the Kingdom of Jerusalem.
