| Reverse description | Central field contains a double-headed eagle displayed, the heraldic emblem of the Jagiellonian dynasty, with wings spread and both heads turned outward, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The eagle is rendered in a bold Gothic style characteristic of hammered billon coinage of the period. The surrounding peripheral legend reads MAGNI DVCIS LITVANIE, introduced by a cross pattée, proclaiming the authority of the Grand Duke of Lithuania. The flat, irregular flan and worn relief are consistent with the hammered production techniques employed at the Vilnius Mint during this era. |
