Obverse description Central field depicts the Vytis (Pahonia), the armoured knight of Lithuania, shown as an armoured equestrian figure facing right at full gallop, sword raised in the right hand and a shield bearing a cross on the left arm. The horse is rendered in dynamic profile with raised forelegs. The central device is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the Latin circumscription running along the outer rim between the inner beading and the coin's irregular edge.
