| Obverse description | Crowned bust of Henry IV facing left, rendered in low relief in the medieval Catalan style typical of hammered coinage. The king wears an open crown with prominent fleurons, with flowing hair visible beneath. The effigy is contained within an inner beaded circle, with the royal Latin legend disposed around the periphery between two beaded circles.
