| Reverse description | A long cross pattée at center, with the initial F and a sword placed in opposite quarters of the cross, all contained within a raised inner circle. The sword, emblematic of lordly authority, is depicted diagonally in one quarter, while the letter F for Franciscus occupies another. The surrounding legend in Gothic majuscules runs between the inner circle and the coin's irregular outer edge. The overall design follows the standard feudal écu type of the Pyrenean lordships of the late 15th century. |
